He charged them with burglary, theft, conspiracy and criminal mischief in connection with the burglary of a local business on Prospect Street. Ptl. Matt Mirabella responded to the business after the owner came into work and discovered her building had been broken into and items were missing. After a field investigation by Miscia and the Morris County Sherriff’s Department K-9 Unit, Miscia determined that Nadeau, who resides at 16 Keep St., was in possession of stolen items from the business. He was taken to headquarters for processing and after processing arrest warrants were issued for Dougherty. They were both arrested and taken to headquarters for processing and released pending mandatory court appearances. Dets. Edward Mitchko and Paul Kosakowski assisted with the investigation.
