IN SHORT

Mike Wulff—The catcher was one of the few Dodgers to reach base safely, leading off the game with a single. He also had a stolen base on Monday.
OTHER KEY PERFORMANCES
Tom Tracy (Madison), 1-for-2 with a single; Alex Brownlee (Madison), 1-for-2 with a single; Ricky LaSalvia (Hanover Park), pitched five scoreless innings, allowing just three hits and striking out three.
THEY SAID IT
“A bad day from the very beginning…they’re a very good club, we know they’re a very good club. We didn’t have one of our big three [pitchers] on the mound and we’ve got to deal with that. You can’t throw your best every day…we did not react well to a loss [Gov. Livingston on Wednesday] in a tremendous atmosphere, against a tremendous baseball team, we didn’t react well to that. I just challenged [the team] to see how we react to this, to an embarrassment…against a team in our conference, in our county and in our state section. Only time will tell.”—Head Coach Mickey Ennis
