Private Funeral Services for Catharine Helck of Madison

Private funeral services were held Friday for Catharine Helck, 45, of Madison.

Helck died in in Morris Township Oct. 4.

A native of Longmeadow, Mass., according to information on her Facebook page, Helck attended the College of William and Mary were she studied history and English, graduating in 1988. She had worked in communications and marketing, including as an editor at Pearson Education, according to information on her LinkedIn profile.

She was actively involved in the PTO at .

Helck is survived by her husband Christopher; her daughter Eileen, and son Robbie.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the or National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
