Rain Didn't Dampen Madison MEF 5K

MADISON, NJ - Saturday's less-then-stellar weather didn't stop Madison Education Foundation (MEF) supporters from strutting their stuff as part of the annual 5K fundraiser.

"A little rain didn’t stop us," the organization wrote on their Facebook page. "Thank you to everyone who came out to the 16th Annual Madison 5K to benefit MEF. Your investment in our community and public education inspires us. Congratulations to all."

Founded in 2003, The Madison Education Foundation awards educational enrichment grants to teachers and staff members in the Madison public schools. Through teacher grants, MEF fundsideas that energize the academic and creative life of students but are above and beyond the school district budget.
