The Madison Area YMCA and New Jersey Blood Services are hosting a Blood Drive at the YMCA’s Family Center at 111 Kings Road, Madison, on Monday, August 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is an urgent need for blood donations. To maintain proper social distancing, donations are by appointment only. Spots are still available! Please book your donation time at GiveBloodNJBS and use Sponsor Code 11619.

All visitors and guests must present a valid state/government-issued photo ID and wear a protective face covering. Donors will have their temperature taken upon arrival and may not donate blood if they are currently on self-quarantine restrictions, or if they have had a positive COVID-19 test or experienced symptoms in the last 14 days.

Madison Area YMCA Development Associate Sandy Halbing shares, “The Y recognizes that blood drives are an essential activity, as outlined by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and we are proud to do our part to help address the critical blood shortage we face today.” For more information about blood drives contact Sandy by email at SHalbing@madisonymca.org.
