School Board Race Is On In Madison

Three new names are running for two open seats in the general election.

MADISON, NJ - The Madison Board of Education will have two new faces on the dais come 2020 as two incumbents have chosen not to run and three newcomers have thrown their hats into the ring, according to the Morris County Clerk's Office.

In Madison, there are two seats up for grabs as sitting members Johanna Habib and Leslie Lajewski will see their terms expire at the end of the calendar year and neither has filed to run again.

This clears the playing field for David Steketee of Ferndale Road, Stephen H. Tindall of Barnsdale Road and John Regan of Fairwood Road. All three filed for a spot on the school board, according to the filing paperwork.
