SKC's PETER PAN JR at the Madison Ambulance Corps

Madison, NJ (November 23, 2016) -- Spotlight Kids Company is excited to announce the dates of their upcoming production, Peter Pan, Jr. With a cast of nearly 40 Madison children from grades 3-9, the production of Peter Pan, Jr. is sure to delight audiences of all ages. The musical will take place at the Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corps at 29 Prospect Street, Madison, NJ. Shows are December 9 @ 7pm; December 10 @ 2pm and 7pm; December 11 @ 2pm. Spotlight Kids Company is a Madison-based performing arts company. Each show is run by kids, performed by kids, and for kids. Kathryn McManus, 2016 Madison High School graduate and founder of Spotlight Kids Company (SKC), started producing plays with her friends five years ago, when she was an eighth grader at Madison Junior School. Since then, she and SKC have fully produced 9 productions, two workshops, a summer full of classes, and taught over 200 kids. Past productions include Annie, Jr., Getting to Know the Sound of Music, and Wizard of Oz Young Performer’s Edition. “I think that every kid should experience theatre in some aspect at some point in their life because it teaches discipline, respect, and commitment from an early age,” says Ms. McManus, who is currently pursuing a degree in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Directing, at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
