UPDATE: Power Restored In Madison's Ridgedale Section

UPDATE: Residents preparing Thanksgiving dinner were without power for about two hours this morning, police said.

The cause of the outage was not readily available but power was restored before noon, police said.

PREVIOUSLY:

A Nixle alert issued by the Madison Police Department this morning about an electrical problem in the Ridgedale section of town.

“We are aware of an electrical outage in the Ridgedale area. Electric Dept. is on scene fixing the problem,” police said.

No timetable on restoration was available.
