Storm Squall Sends Tree Into Madison House
No one was injured when the tree was uprooted by strong winds, police said.
MADISON, NJ - It was a close call for one Madison family who saw a tree fall on their home during the strong wind gusts on Wednesday.
Madison Police, Fire and Building Departments all responded n to a call for a tree that had uprooted and fallen on a house, officials said.
An assessment at the scene determined there was no real structural damage to the home and there were no reported injuries. Madison officials said while they appreciated the quick response and assessment from the first responders it was important that residents use caution as the strong wind gusts forecast for the next few days can take down trees and limbs.
