Taste of Madison Set For Monday
Twenty-five local providers of fine food and drink will be offering samples of their best wares.
MADISON, NJ - Celebrating its eighteenth anniversary, the Taste of Madison is the warm and welcoming wintertime extravaganza that benefits several local non-profit causes in Madison, organizers said.
Tickets are available at Gary’s Wine & Marketplace at 121 Main Street and online at TasteOfMadison.org. Certain Madison PTO’s are selling tickets as a fundraiser to enrich their programs.
Gary’s Wine & Marketplace will be providing samples of fine wine, beer and spirits. All Taste purveyors of food and drink donate their time, expertise, personnel and provisions to the event.

As in previous years, Avenue Travel, 62 Main St., Madison, will raffle a $250 travel voucher and Salvatore Minardi Salon, 8 Park Ave., Madison, will provide general hospitality to Taste guests.

Festivities will include a beer garden, a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction and a tricky-tray event. Madison’s businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals are invited to donate products and services to the silent auction and trick-tray. The Taste of Madison is produced by a non-profit partnership of the Madison Downtown Development Commission, the Rotary Club of Madison and the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce, for the betterment of the local community.
In its previous seventeen editions, the Taste has raised almost $550,000. Proceeds fund local charitable causes, business development and civic improvements in Madison.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be sold at the event. Guests must be at least 21 years old. The dress code is business casual.
