Anne Lawless our Public Issues Chair coordinated with the Madison Memorial Day Parade Committee to get TMC added to the list of marchers. As you can see, we had a great time honoring our Veterans on Memorial Day, May 28th. This was our first time participating in the Parade with about 20 members representing the TMC. It was a great experience and the Public Issues Community Service Program has been officially added to the roster of the Parade Committee. We are looking for an even bigger representation next year, 2019, so mark your calendars now: Monday, May 27, 2019!!
After the parade we headed back to Boro Hall. In the absence of our Education Chair; Cathy Gotliffe, Anne Lawless presented the Education Community Service Program’s three Amazon Gift Cards to the winners of the “What Memorial Day means to Me” contest: one for Essay, one for Art, and one for Poetry”.
The TMC would like to thank all of our current and retired military for their services to our great country.
