As summer ends and pumpkin spice season ramps up, here are some Yelpers favorite local coffee shops.

MADISON, NJ — After a long summer of iced coffee and lemonades, fall is fast approaching and with it, pumpkin spice everything. Love pumpkin spice lattes? Just looking for a really great cup of coffee? Here are some local coffeeshops Morris County Yelpers love.

The Coffee Potter: "Amazing place! I love my vanilla latte from The Coffee Potter and the service here couldn't be better! The decor is absolutely adorable- a great place to bring a client, sit down for a chat with friends or bring a book/laptop and sip your coffee."

DRIP coffee: "VERY cute place! Lots of art hanging on the wall designed by local community artists. Friendly staff! I tried their Nutella cafe- it was perfect with perfect amount of froth and not too sweet. I am glad my friend introduced me to this place. I see myself becoming a regular here."

The Artist Baker: "The cutest little bakery and café that is tucked away on a busy but still a side street off of the green. The bike hanging as decoration out front is what caught my eye at first and I'm glad that it drew me in. I had a freshly brewed iced tea with my baked cheddar & kale scone one late afternoon."

Maria’s: "Maria's is the type of coffee shop that reminds me of my mom's home baked goods. It has a charming, warm, friendly atmosphere. I'm visiting Chester for the weekend but if I lived locally, I would be a regular customer."

Boonton Coffee: "What a gorgeous and unexpected cafe!I was exceedingly pleased with my first trip to Boonton Coffee. They roast and sell their own beans, can make solid recommendations based on your taste, and provide a quiet, inviting, exposed brick interior in which to hang out, sip espresso, and get work done."

El Monte Coffee Roasters: "So if you're looking for your day to be made.. swing on in here! The lady working is adorable. She made me feel right at home. Another plus, she uses coffee ice cubes in your ice coffee so when it melts, it's not watery. This would be a cute place for a date, hanging out, or just to swing in quick."

Simple Coffee: "The place is simply fantastic. It's great quality drinks served up by the nicest people. Everyone I have encountered in the shop is wonderful and this is not just because they provide me with my oh so important coffee."

The Fine Grind - A Coffee Bar: "My favorite café! Incredibly friendly staff, relaxed environment and they have plenty of drinks that they're happy to adjust to your liking. They have some vegan drinks and pastries too, which is a huge bonus for me."

Rico Pan Bakery: "Stopped here for coffee and pastry on a Saturday morning before the craft fair. Delicious on both accounts. They have lots of other tasty options that make it appear to be more of a restaurant. Worth exploring!"

Smartworld Coffee: "I come here when I'm talking a walk in Morristown in the morning or late afternoon. They have a lot of different varieties. i recently tried the cold brew and it was so smooth, definitely worth the trip. There's a nice seating atmosphere and it doesn't get too loud in there, like Starbucks. It's a very cute cafe that is worth the time looking for parking."

Matilda’s Cafe: "This is a new cafe at the Freylingheysen Arboretum. It's nice for this type of cafe. Usually there are just some plastic chairs and a cafeteria feel at places like this. Matilda's Cafe is in a little house and it has a well lit mini greenroom type area to the right that looks out on the garden. There is another seating area to the left with dark wooden furniture."

Verrilli’s Bakery: "Seriously best breakfast sandwiches not only in town but in the surrounding area (and this is coming from a foodie). I always get a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich either on a roll or bagel (both are great as they are made in-house). Their ice coffee (pleasantly surprised when I first had it) is also really good!"

Greene Brothers Specialty Coffee Roasters: "When I moved to the area, a friend who works in the coffee business recommended this local place for freshly roasted beans. We have been many times and have brought many friends to this little gem for the freshly roasted beans. We always enjoy what we get and I have no reservations about recommending it to others."
