Trio Scores While Field Hockey Shuts Out Parsippany

The Madison field hockey team shut out its second opponent on Wednesday afternoon, defeating the Parsippany Red Hawks 3-0.

Erica Worthington scored the first goal of the game during the first half with an assist from Rachel Alvey. Ali Helwig and Mackenzie Ellis each scored a goal and assisted each other in the second half.

The Dodgers consistently controlled the game during both halves. Although there were a few turnovers, Madison goalie Caroline McCabe made a total of nine saves.

The Dodgers will look to continue their winning streak Thursday afternoon when they face off against Oak Knoll at 4 p.m.
