Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part I is a Midnight Treat at Clearview Cinema
Cinema staff determined to woo fair maidens at the midnight premiere of smash hit movie.
Donning trim black vests and sporting bowties, the staff at in Madison Thursday-going-into-Friday was out to give the ladies a wonderful night out, wedding balloons, and tiny white lights in gauze.
The sold-out midnight premiere showing of , the fourth movie in a string of hits based on the super popular Twilight books penned by Stephanie Meyer, was not the first one manager and staff dressed up for. And not a one of them turned into a vampire or a werewolf, or at least not that anyone noticed.
There have been midnight themed showings, too, for Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean.

The crowd last night was overwhelmingly female, although two young men, looking fairly miserable, were spotted. Ever wonder where the college students go? Coeds from FDU and Drew were among the moviegoers, as well as tweens and teens.
Madison mother Alice Schreier accompanied her 12-year-old daughter Abigail, excitedly waiting in line to get into the screening room. They had come with Wendy Formica and her daughters, Courtney, 14 and Natalie, 12. The two younger girls confessed a weakness for Jacob, the one who is "so cute" but admittedly nasty. Courtney with two years on the younger ones leaned toward Edward although Jacob, well there's just something about Jacob. Oh, it's his abs because "he's always got his shirt off," they said.

Oak Knoll juniors Olivia Gasser, of Madison, and Sarah Smith and Sarah Keller, both from Summit, somehow got mom's permission to attend the midnight movie that ended at 2:11 a.m.
"I like vampires," explained Gasser.
And despite the lambasting the snooty old critics have given the writing, Gasser finds that "the books are really good." Besides, as Sarah Smith pointed out, it's a "love story."
