The Madison Soccer Club U14 Boys Hurricanes celebrated on Nov. 20 after finishing in a tie against opponent West Orange, which left them in first place for the fourth season in a row.
The boys started in the league seven years ago in flight 5 and progressively worked their way up to the flight 1 division in this, their final season. The team They capped off their season with a record of 8 wins, 1 loss and 1 tie. The well- rounded team also took first place in the annual Parisippany Price tournament in only their second year of participation.
Madison is fortunate to have such talent and spirit from their youths involved in sports. Special praise must also go to coaches Steve Donald and Tom Haralampoudis for their hard work and efforts with the boys and especially their Kickz trainer, Jenna Plews. On to the high school level for these talented soccer players!
