Jonathan Dawkins was arrested after a traffic stop.

MADISON, NJ - A 30-year-old Madison man was charged with 3rd degree unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of marijuana under 50 grams, a disorderly person’s offense, after a traffic stop on Jan. 15, according to the Madison Police Department.
According to authorities, Patrolman Nelson Jimenez stopped Jonathan R. Dawkins’ vehicle on Danforth Road for equipment violations and while speaking with Dawkins, Jimenez observed obvious signs of drug use. After an investigation, a small amount of marijuana was located in Dawkins’ possession, police said.
