Website Ranks Madison As One Of NJ's Best School Districts
Niche.com says the Morris County school district is in the top 50 in the Garden State. You agree?

MADISON, NJ - The Madison School District is number 30 on the list of the best of the best in the state of New Jersey for 2019, according to a new ranking from Niche.com. According to their website, Niche ranks nearly 100,000 schools and districts based on statistics and millions of opinions from students and parents.
Niche.com, which specializes in all different types of rankings, has released a new 2019 list of the best school districts in New Jersey. Niche's methodology is based on an analysis of academic and student-life data from the US Department of Education along with test scores, and feedback from Niche.com users.
Niche says that Madison ranked 49 out of 377 in Districts with the Best Teachers in New Jersey category, and 49 out of 383 in the Safest School Districts in New Jersey category.

Their data shows Madison as a top rated, public school district with 2,413 students in grades PK, K-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 12 to 1. According to state test scores, 64 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 70 percent in reading.

Niche has also ranked what it says are the top 200 schools in New Jersey, both private and public schools. It includes elementary, middle and high schools all in the same list. You can see that list here.
