What is Your "Advanced Style"?
Debra Rapaport - Guest Speaker at TMC's Wise Wonderful Women Luncheon
The Thursday Morning Club invites the public to attend its Wise Wonderful Women Luncheon and Lecture Series which will take place on May 12, 2016 at 11:30 A.M. at the Madison Community House at 25 Cook Ave., Madison.
Debra Rapaport will be highlighted in this presentation as one of the seven fashionable senior women featured in the film “Advanced Style.” This inspirational, touching and absolutely marvelous film is the brainchild of the acclaimed street photographer, Ari Seth Cohen and director, Lina Plioplyte. The film dives into the personal lives of New York City’s most fabulous seniors who have made style more artistic, eclectic and personal. In an industry obsessed with youth, these older women dispel conventional ideas about beauty and aging and prove that with age comes grace, confidence and new unimagined opportunities for fame and fortune. Their style and vital spirit have guided their approach to aging.
Following the film presentation, Debra will answer questions about the film and how it came to be as well as sharing her personal philosophy on “advanced style.”
