1,000 Trees May Be Planted In Mahwah
Environmental Commission applying for state grant to replace trees that were destroyed during Superstorm Sandy.

MAHWAH, NJ – The environmental commission wants to plant 1,000 trees in the township.
The township is applying for a grant from the New Jersey Tree Recovery Campaign to replace 1,000 trees that were destroyed when Superstorm Sandy ripped through New Jersey in 2012.
The trees will be one to three feet high and instructions will come with the trees.

Trees can be picked up April 23 at the Mahwah Municipal Building from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
