A list released by a popular travel website named these two New Jersey orchards among the best apple picking spots in the country.

NEW JERSEY, NJ — Apples are in season, and these two New Jersey orchards are among the top spots for apple picking in the U.S., according to a recent list released by Travel + Leisure Magazine.
So, grab a juicy and delicious apple right from the tree at these two local orchards, and discover a variety of other produce and sweets as well, the travel website said.
Demarest Farms in Hillsdale, and Terhune Orchards in Princeton rank among the top apple picking destinations, and these orchards offer way more than just fresh apples.

"Only about an hour's drive outside New York City, this easy-to-access farm has apples, peaches, and pumpkins. On special nights in October, the farm hosts pumpkin picking and spooky movie nights, as well as a popular Halloween light show.
