26 New Bergen County Coronavirus Cases; Updated Town Totals

Bergen County provided updated coronavirus case numbers for all county municipalities on Tuesday.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Bergen County officials provided the weekly Tuesday coronavirus update for individual municipalities, and the New Jersey Department of Health announced 26 new cases on Wednesday.

In addition to the 26 positive test results, the NJDOH reports 1,761 confirmed deaths in the county, 268 probable deaths and a total of 19,927 positive test results.

The county released updated total for all county municipalities on Tuesday. They are as follows.

As reported earlier this week, Bergen County school districts continue to roll out their plans for reopening in the fall.

Glen Rock announced their proposed plan on July 14, which includes a mix of in-person and virtual learning for all grades, and alternating days of in-person learning for middle and high school students.

The Return to Wyckoff Schools Committee will discuss a reopening plan at a July 15 meeting, and parents and guardians have been filling out a family survey, which was due on Tuesday.

At the college level, Bergen Community College announced that almost classes would be taught virtually, while William Paterson University in Wayne said there would be a mix of learning styles, but many would be offered in person.
