Lucta buys out Flavor And Fragrance Specialities Inc.

Seventy jobs will remain in Mahwah as part of Lucta S.A.’s acquisition of Flavor & Fragrance Specialties Inc.
Keeping the company in Mahwah was the “main driver behind the acquisition,” said Mike Bloom, Flavor’s president.
“Keeping the current workforce, that was extremely important. Nobody is leaving here,” Bloom said. “Lucta had no intention of doing the deal without everyone staying here.”
