Ahhhhhh Spring!!!!!!

Ahhhhhh Spring……

Finally, finally it is now ok to say it is Spring 2017 and good bye to the winter of 2016-2017

You wanna know how I can say its spring….

-The 2017 Masters is over, and what an exciting back nine it was on Sunday…a matured Sergio Garcia made shots when he needed to especially on the 18th a hole that TV clearly does not show as well as in person a long straight tee shot is required, just ask Justin Rose

-The 2017 baseball season is underway and much to my surprise the Yankees are outplaying the Mets…..again. Youth is being served in the Bronx and so far the results are great as the Bombers have won 11 of 18 games most of which without their 2 best players. DeeDee and Sanchez….In Flushing the Mets struggle to reach .500 even with a great serving of perennial patsies the Phillies, Braves, and Marlins a guaranteed 55-60 wins provided by the National League

-I also know it is spring because there is no playoff basketball here in New York, and its gonna be a while. Phil Jackson came to prominence in the golden era of Knick basketball, the late 60s -70s primarily coming into a game to give a foul. He sure has fouled up the Knicks while earning a measly 12 million a year…….only in America

-I also know its spring because suddenly its harder and harder to find a reason to wear a hoodie

-Its also a sign of spring and eternal resurrection that area churches added special services for Easter, also known as resurrection Sunday

-I also know that its spring because the OFG’s are off to yet another undefeated start for their spring season

-And yet again it has to be spring as the NY Rangers make yet another playoff push after eliminating Montreal in the first round of the playoffs……Anybody see Islander or Devils fans? Me either

-It is also spring because the NFL conducts its annual meat market aka the draft this week in Philly
