American Dream Celebrates Spooky Season With Halloween Events

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — American Dream will be celebrating spooky season this October, and recently announced a line-up of Halloween-inspired events that span the whole month.

The first of those events is scheduled to begin on Friday, but rest assured, area residents and travelers alike will have plenty of time to check out what they've got planned.

Here's what's coming up:

Nickelodeon Boo-niverse

"Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park transforms into Boo-niverse with thrilling rides and experiences designed to enchant miniature monsters and grown-up goblins alike," American Dream officials say.

Nickelodeon characters will be in their Halloween costume for meet-and-greets, conga lines and of course the Monster Mash. Halloween weekend will feature a costume contest, trick or treat scavenger hunt, and "spooktacular fun for everyone." Click here for ticket information.

The Boo-niverse will be up from Oct. 8 through Halloween, Oct. 31.

No Tricks, All Treats

American Dream is revamping the trick or treat experience by expanding the one-day candy grab into a full week experience.

For the week of Halloween, those visiting American Dream will have the opportunity to get candy from a two-story candy chute at the mall, located outside IT'SUGAR.

Dates for this event are Oct. 25 through Halloween.

Spooky Skate

The Rink at American Dream is hosting a costume skate during the weekend of Halloween, Oct. 29 through Oct. 31.

Boo-Loon Lands

You remember the giant skeleton decorations? Well how about a 50-foot spider? American Dream and Party City have partnered up to make it happen this year, with the display set to go up in Court A on Oct. 19. Just think about the photos you can post.
