MAHWAH, NJ — New to Mahwah? The town will hold an event Tuesday where you can meet local officials and learn about services.
"Join us for an evening of community connections, helpful information, and a warm Mahwah welcome," the town said in an announcement.
The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. this Tuesday at the Mahwah pool.
"Come chat with Township representatives, learn about local programs and services, and discover all the great events and activities Mahwah has to offer for you and your family," officials said.
Highlights include:

• Learn about community resources and services
• Explore local events and recreation opportunities
• Connect with fellow new residents
• Enjoy light appetizers
"Whether you just moved in or are still getting settled, this is a great opportunity to feel more connected to the Mahwah community," they said.
