• Lottery Player In Mahwah Wins $500K From Scratch-Off; 4 Others Win Powerball (patch.com) — Several lucky tickets bought in Mahwah recently paid off big, including a $500,000 Ruby 7's scratch-off sold at the 7-Eleven on Franklin Turnpike and two $50,000 Powerball winners from local delis. Additional $50,000 Powerball prizes also hit in Fort Lee and New Milford as the jackpot briefly topped $1 billion before resetting to $350 million.
   

• As EOF Family Grows, Alumni Pour into Next Generation (ramapo.edu) — Ramapo College's Mahwah campus recently welcomed back Educational Opportunity Fund alumni who spent their own 2016 summer here preparing for college and now mentor the newest class of scholars. Through panels, small-group talks, and a Legacy Lounge event, graduates shared how EOF's academic, financial, and emotional support helped them succeed and are now paying that support forward.
