Announcing New August Session for Ramapo Explorers-STEM Middle School Academic Camp!

Due to popular demand, The Ramapo Explorers-STEM Middle School Academic Camp is pleased to announce a NEW third session which will run from August 4-15. The camp focuses on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) learning activities while having fun. The program is for middle school students entering seventh and eighth grades. Entering sixth graders may attend with a special recommendation by a teacher or guidance counselor. The Ramapo Explorers-STEM schedule consists of several educational programs. Campers explore STEM topics in a fun and interactive environment while advancing their problem-solving, critical thinking and teamwork abilities that are a part of the new national Common Core Standards. Campers follow a schedule from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. which includes Olympic Robotics, CSI: Crime Science Investigation, Science Meets Art, iReport News, and Recreation/Fitness. Students are taught by highly qualified certified middle school teachers and are supported by trained college-age counselors who are often teacher education majors.
