An 18-year-old New Jersey man has been identified as a drowning victim this week as the tragic trend continues.

An 18-year-old New Jersey man has been identified as a drowning victim this week as the tragic trend continues.
Luke Rambharose, 18, who just graduated from Leonia High School this year, drowned on Thursday at Harriman State Park in New York while cliff diving with friends, according to New York authorities.
New York State Park Police received a call from Pine Meadow Lake around 3:20 p.m. Thursday, where they pulled Rambharose from the water and did CPR.

Rambharose, a Leonia resident, was a member of the Palisades Park/Leonia High School Tigers football team, according to northjersey.com"A couple of days ago, I and many lost a very great friend," Trevor Singh, a friend of Rambharose's wrote on Facebook. "I'm still in shock and heartbroken to hear about this."
A GoFundMe.com page to pay for his funeral costs, raising more than $15,000.Visiting hours for Rambharose are from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 216 4th Street in Englewood, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, according to Daily Voice.

At least 11 have died at New Jersey beaches and pools since June, and those who work to protect the lives of minors have come forward to offer tips on how to prevent more tragedies from happening in the water.
