Hey it’s been a while so great to be with you again. Lo and behold it appears we are all gonna be somewhat normal again soon, at least weatherize I am told 70 and 80 are two numbers I will be experiencing this week. I have my shorts and tank tops ready….

Even better than that, the New York Yankees are back in stride again ready to assume the thrown back on top of the baseball world. New York as righted the ship so to speak in typical Yankee fashion—the Bronx Bombers are back. Judge, Stanton Didi and Sanchez are taking turns hitting tape measure jobs nightly and the result is a 9 game winning streak going into this week’s showdown series with the World Champion Houston Astros in Texas. Back in Stride for the first time since the Core Four or Five is the Yankees farm system supplying youth, speed, enthusiasm and power also. Andujar, Austin, and Torrez bode well as a solid core of the next generation of pinstripe pride and power
The Jets and Giants are back in stride also, all but declaring themselves Super Bowl Champions after this year’s NFL meat market aka the draft. It appears both teams have helped themselves but we will only know for sure when their early draft picks play often. The Jets were fortunate to get their qb of the future and Donald of USC may get thrown into the fire early as will the Giants new offensive weapon. We are concerned with Big Blue because the Giants passed up a golden chance to select a successor to Eli and at the same time I am not sold that all the offensive line problems have been solved. Time will tell

Spring time sports are locally back in stride again as we hope to finally put winter in the rear view mirror. I watched the next generation of my family play high school lacrosse and little league baseball this week despite winter like temperatures. I hope to put a golf club in my hand soon and see what happens.
As the weather warms up, here’s hoping that we all get to be little more mobile and out and about ---it’s been an awful winter
