Bergen Architect Falls To His Death From NYC High-Rise: Police
Bruno Travalja, 52, was the owner of Crowne Architectural Systems. He fell 47 stories while working on Avenue of the Americas, police said.

A Bergen County architect fell 47 stories to his death Thursday while working atop a Manhattan high-rise, police said.
Authorities identified the man as Bruno Travalja, 52, of Arrow Lane in Ridgewood.
Police responded to a 911 call about a man at who reportedly fell to his death from the top of 153 West 53rd St. on 6th Avenue, a police department spokesman said.

Travalja was part of a construction crew working at the building taking measurements when he fell, police said.
Travalja's wife Alexis, 40, told the New York Daily News that she was "sad" regarding her husband's death.

“He was the most honest, hard-working, truthful human being who ever walked the face of the planet," she said.
Officials told the Daily News that Travalja might have become light-headed or dizzy when he knelt down and then stood up to check something.
Travalja founded Crowne Architectural Systems 11 years ago in the couple's home, the report said.
