A Bergen County corrections officer is accused of sexually assaulting a girl multiple times when she was 12 and 13 years old, said Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal.

Alan Carrino Jr., 42, of Lyndhurst, was arrested Thursday after authorities were contacted the previous week by a woman who told the prosecutor's office Carrino sexually assaulted her multiple times in 2003 and 2004 when she was between 12 and 13 years old, Grewal said.
