Bergen County Coronavirus Update: 15,801 Cases, 1,136 deaths
62 long-term care facilities report at least one presumptive case as of Thursday night.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — 15,801 people have tested positive for the coronavirus as of 10 p.m. Thursday, and 1,136 Bergen County residents have died, according to the New Jersey Department of Health.
62 Bergen County long-term care facilities are reporting at least one confirmed case, according to the NJDH, bringing the total number of cases in long-term care facilities to 3,411 cases and 659 deaths.
A total of 118,652 people across the state have tested positive for the coronavirus, and 7,228 people have died, according to the NJDH.

Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco, who usually shares statistics for municipalities via Facebook, said he would not be able to provide those numbers, but added regular reporting would resume Friday "if the reporting system remains stable".
