Bergen Dining Landmark Park And Orchard Reopening: Report

Park & Orchard restaurant, a well-known Bergen County restaurant for nearly 40 years, will reopen after closing last year.

Brothers Buddy and Ken Gebhardt created healthy, organic cuisine at the restaurant that also had one of the best selection of wines in the country, MeadowlandsUSA.com reported.

The Gebhardts retired last July and closed the restaurant. David Madison and Andrew Guarino bought the restaurant and have gutted the inside and installed a new exhibition kitchen and interior, the report said.

New dishes will be on the menu. American cuisine "with a wide range of ethnic influences," will be among the highlights with "nothing from the can," Guarino said.

“We are retaining the fresh organic, locally produced meats and produce you expect from P&O" Guarino said.

No grand opening date has been announced yet.
