Bergen Man Dies After Getting Shot In Paterson: Prosecutor

Parker Sams, 22, was found outside the D'Classico nightclub early Saturday morning, authorities said.

A Bergen County man was found shot outside a Paterson nightclub early Saturday morning and later died, authorities announced.

Paterson police responded to the D'Classico nightclub on Ellison Street shortly before 2 a.m. and found Parker Sams, 22, of Garfield who had been shot, said Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes.

Sams was taken to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson where he died from his wound, Valdes said.

Authorities are investigating what happened. No other victims are known to authorities at this time, the prosecutor said.
