Bergen Schools Named Among Top 100 In NJ

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Several local schools were included on a new, more inclusive list of the state's best schools created by Niche.com.

The website, which specializes in all different types of rankings, has created a new list that is a bit different than the usual rankings the company is known for. In this one, Niche has ranked what it says are the top 100 schools in New Jersey, both private and public schools. It also includes elementary, middle and high schools all in the same list.

The Bergen County schools that made the list were:

No. 3: Dwight-Englewood School, Englewood (private, K-12)
No. 7: Bergen County Academies, Hackensack (public, 9-12)
No. 11: Bergen County Technical High School - Teterboro (public, 9-12)
No. 33: Northern Highlands Regional High School, Allendale (public, 9-12)
No. 40. Tenafly High School (public, 9-12)
No. 50: Ridgewood High School (public, 9-12)
No. 52: Bergen Catholic High School, Oradell (private 9-12)
No. 69: Northern Valley Regional High School, Demarest (public, 9-12)
No. 76: Ramapo High School (public, 9-12)
No. 82: The Frisch School, Paramus (private, 9-12)
No. 97: Pascack Hills High School, Montvale (public, 9-12)

Every school on this top 100 list receives either an A+ or an A for an overall score from Niche.
