The 17-year-old Cresskill native and Team Miley member won her battle against Charity Bowden.
Diaz told RealityWorld.com that being chosen by Miley Cyrus was "a dream come true."

Diaz created a YouTube channel and gained fans by uploading performances of original songs and covers.
Diaz sings an 18-person a cappella group, participates in musical theater, and plays the saxophone in the school band. She also teaching guitar lessons to children to help save for college.
