Videos should express students' reflections of how they came to understand their own racial, cultural, or ethnic identities.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — High school students in Bergen County are invited to submit entries for a video project centered on racial, cultural, and ethnic identity.

The Community Chest of Eastern Bergen County is producing a video as part of its Racial Justice Liberty Project, a news release said.

The theme for the project is "A Gallery of Stories of Your Racial/Cultural Discovery.” Videos should be one to two minutes long, and express students' reflections of how they came to understand their own racial, cultural, or ethnic identity.

Submissions are due March 31 to Shelly Wimpfheimer, shelly@communitychestofenglewood.org.

The project's goal is "to reach a wide audience to promote understanding of the range of personal encounters young people experience during their lives and the impact of these encounters on the teens themselves."
