Bicyclist Hospitalized After Crash At Mahwah Intersection

MAHWAH, NJ — Police responded on Tuesday evening to a bicyclist seriously injured at a Mahwah intersection.

First responders tended to the cyclist in the area of 209 Island Road, near West Airmount, after 5:15 p.m.

On Wednesday, Mahwah Police Chief Timothy O'Hara said, "The motor vehicle collision with a bicyclist is an active investigation. The victim was transported to the hospital due to his injuries and the driver remained on-scene."
