BREAKING: Car Overturns, One Killed Near Mahwah

One person was killed and several people were injured in a N.J. traffic accident early Saturday, police said.

The accident occurred in the northbound lanes of the on the Palisades Interstate Parkway near Exit 1, and police reported that car was “into the woods.:

A car was overturned on the northbound side, north of the Sunoco station.

The right lane was closed. There were several victims and a Medevac was requested.

Police tweeted that the south lanes were reopened this morning while the ongoing accident investigation continued.
