We are excited to announce the return of JC’s Flea &amp; Vintage Fair, held at the historic Wallisch Homestead. This popular event will take place monthly from May through October. Here are the dates that are left for 2026; Aug. 16, Sept. 20, &amp; Oct. 18. The event is open to the public from 9 am-4 pm.&nbsp;Located in West Milford, this beautiful 99-acre site will host a dedicated vintage and antique section, along with a diverse marketplace featuring new items, crafts, and garage-sale finds.


Become a Vendor We are currently welcoming all vendors, including local residents looking to sell their no-longer-needed items. Clean out those closets! Instead of paying for storage, join us to turn your items into profit. JC Promotions handles the marketing to bring the customers to you. For advice or to sign up, please contact Cissy at <a href="mailto:events@jcpromotions.info">events@jcpromotions.info</a>.&nbsp;&nbsp; We’re hoping to attract approximately 60 exhibitors offering antiques, collectibles, estate jewelry, coins, comics, furniture, and more. Of course, it may take some time to build to that number of vendors, but we are hopeful. We also need interested customers, so please take the time to visit us and help establish this ongoing market.

Also enjoy a variety of selections from local food trucks and live music throughout the day.
Mission: This event is hosted by the <a href="https://www.wallischhomestead.org/about-us/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Friends of the Wallisch Homestead</a>, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the preservation of this historic site. The intent of The Friends of Wallisch is not just to save another old house. The Friends believe the Wallisch Homestead offers a variety of historic, cultural, educational, and recreational uses for both residents and visitors of all ages and walks of life.
Admission &amp; Parking-FREE Both admission and parking are FREE, with plenty of on-site space available. No longer will you be asked to donate $5.00. If you’d like to donate to the cause to restore the site, there will be someone on site with their own booth to do just that. It’s optional.

Mahwah Museum

Guitar players of all levels are invited to “Unlock the Fretboard,” a hands-on guitar workshop taking place on Saturday, July 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a short break included. The workshop will be taught by Mark Sganga, an International Fingerstyle Guitar Champion, bringing expert instruction and high-level musicianship to this special event. Designed to help players better understand the fretboard through a system of caged chords and scales, the workshop offers practical strategies that participants can apply immediately in their playing.

Whether attendees are beginners looking to strengthen their foundation or more experienced players aiming to improve fluency across the fretboard, this workshop provides an engaging and approachable learning experience. Participants will explore patterns, note relationships, and practical techniques that can make improvisation, chord work and soloing feel more intuitive.





Unlock the Fretboard is an opportunity for guitar players to deepen their musical&nbsp; understanding, sharpen their skills, and enjoy a focused session of creative growth. The workshop is ideal for anyone ready to see the guitar in a clearer, more connected way.



About Mark Sganga: Mark Sganga has performed for audiences worldwide and appeared at leading venues and festivals across the United States and internationally. In New York City, he has performed numerous times at Iridium as a guest of the legendary Les Paul, a
distinction that underscores his artistry and reputation in the guitar world. A lifelong music educator as well as a performer, Sganga has led master classes and workshops in improvisation, harmony, Latin rhythms, and solo guitar arranging. He is also an adjunct music professor at Ramapo College of New Jersey and earned first place at the respected Walnut Valley Guitar Festival in 2009.

We are back at the 15th Hermitage Museum located at 355 Franklin Turnpike, Hohokus, NJ, (next to Ridgewood} on Saturday, August 8, from 10 to 4 with the annual outdoor Hermitage Outdoor Art &amp; Craft Show featuring seventy-five talented exhibitors set up on the beautiful tree shaded front lawn of this historic site. This promises to be an unforgettable shopping experience that you do not want to miss. The show is sponsored by Friends of the Hermitage and promoted by P.J.’s Promotions. 
You will find a diverse selection of items including art, pottery, fiber, jewelry, charcuterie boards, folk art, florals, turned wood items, bonsai, stained glass, apparel, area train station prints, chain saw animals, watercolors, pressed flower art, candles, soaps, crochet animals, wood &amp; flag signs, birdhouses, ceramics, soft sculpture and so much more.
