The Hermitage

We are back at the 15th Hermitage Museum located at 355 Franklin Turnpike, Hohokus, NJ, (next to Ridgewood} on Saturday, August 8, from 10 to 4 with the annual outdoor Hermitage Outdoor Art &amp; Craft Show featuring seventy-five talented exhibitors set up on the beautiful tree shaded front lawn of this historic site. This promises to be an unforgettable shopping experience that you do not want to miss. The show is sponsored by Friends of the Hermitage and promoted by P.J.’s Promotions. 
You will find a diverse selection of items including art, pottery, fiber, jewelry, charcuterie boards, folk art, florals, turned wood items, bonsai, stained glass, apparel, area train station prints, chain saw animals, watercolors, pressed flower art, candles, soaps, crochet animals, wood &amp; flag signs, birdhouses, ceramics, soft sculpture and so much more. 
In addition to the great displays, festival foods, kettle korn, pretzels and desserts will be available. Admission is $5 and includes a tour of the Museum. The show is held rain or shine. The Mahwah Environmental Volunteers Organization (MEVO) is hosting its 11th Annual&nbsp;Farm Feast&nbsp;Gala&nbsp;on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Fresh Roots Farm within the Campgaw Mountain Reservation.
The annual fundraising event brings the Northern New Jersey community together for an evening in support of local youth-led environmental initiatives, including organic farming, farm-to-school programming, trail restoration, and regional cleanups.
Event Highlights Include:
<ul><li>5-Course Farm-to-Table Dinner:&nbsp;Crafted by Chef Gabby Aron of Autumn Olive Food Works, using organic vegetables harvested directly from MEVO’s fields and regional food producers.</li><li>Live Entertainment:&nbsp;Bluegrass music performed by&nbsp;Blue Plate Special.</li><li>Silent Auction:&nbsp;Items and experiences donated by regional partners, including the NY Yankees, Ramsey Outdoor, Blooming Hill Farm, and local businesses.</li><li>Guided Farm Tour:&nbsp;Hosted by MEVO leadership before&nbsp;dinner begins.</li></ul>
