“A Night of Patriot Games” Celebrating the Nation's 250th Anniversary and the 25th Anniversary of th

The Mahwah Museum will mark two milestones at once this fall: the 250th anniversary of the United States and the Museum's own 25th anniversary. To celebrate, the Museum is hosting "A Night of Patriot Game, Gala & Generosity," an America 250-themed evening of food, drinks, music, games, and prizes, on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at the Mahwah Senior Center, 475 Corporate Dr, Mahwah, NJ 07430.

The celebration will bring together the local community, businesses, and friends of the Museum for a festive night supporting the Museum's mission to preserve and share Mahwah's history for future generations. Proceeds from the evening will fund the Museum's exhibits, educational programs, lectures, workshops, and community outreach for the year ahead.

Founded in 2001, when the Mahwah Historical Society's collections formed its foundation, the Mahwah Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees. Its mission is to preserve and present the history of Mahwah and its connection to the region through its historical archives, rotating exhibits, gallery talks, lectures featuring local historians, music workshops, and small group tours for schools, scouts, and seniors.

Sponsors are recognized through event signage, materials, and the Museum's website and social media, with top-tier sponsors receiving event tickets, verbal recognition during the program, and year-long recognition at the Museum.
