Construction Of Huge Mahwah Warehouse To Begin Thursday
A wall that is part of the 271,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art warehouse at 1 Sharp Plaza will be erected.

MAHWAH, NJ — Officials will mark the construction of a new state-of-the-art warehouse at 1 Sharp Plaza Thursday.
Personnel from The Sitex Group, the property's owner and developer, and township leaders will be on hand to mark the occasion.
Work on the 271,000-square-foot warehouse is expected to be complete in the first quarter of 2018. The 21-acre site is located less than a mile from the intersection of Route 17 and interstates 287 and 87, one of the most-easily and highly-traveled transportation hubs in Bergen County.

Officials from NAI James E. Hanson, the listing agent for the new building, said possible tenants include a variety of e-commerce, warehousing and distribution-oriented companies.
