An exciting season for music lovers to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Mahwah Public Library. For many years the library has presented concerts of great variety and quality and has built a faithful audience. The upcoming season promises more wonderful performances with a center piece– a mini series of three chamber music recitals. Chamber music has always had a special pull for music lovers with its ability to express great musical ideas in an atmosphere of intimacy. Each concert of the series will be dedicated to a particular combination of instruments: the first concert a duo of violin and piano, the second a trio of violin, cello and piano and the third concert featuring a quartet and a piano quintet. This program is free. No registration is necessary. Seats are on a “first come” basis.
