Discussion of the film "The Great Gatsby"

This book club (with a twist) is for people whose work schedule or other obligations prevent them from joining the morning or evening book clubs. The twist is that the club is also for people who love film. It will meet once a month to read and discuss only classic novels such as Emma, Ethan Frome, Of Mice and Men, Revolutionary Road, and To Kill a Mockingbird. Then the next month watch and discuss the film version. The club will be facilitated by Carolyn Epstein, a resident of Mahwah, who teaches at Saint Thomas Aquinas College in the English/ Writing Department and Rich Thielker who taught film and literature and the History of Film at Pascack Valley High School and at the Pascack Valley Community School. This club is free. No registration is necessary.
