Les Paul, who died in 2009, lived in Mahwah for close to sixty years.

Paul had more impact on modern American music than any other person in the 20th century.  Music would not be what it is today without his contributions.  He is the only person to be inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the National Inventors Hall of Fame AND the National Broadcasters Hall of Fame.

Charlie Carreras shares Paul's history and contributions.  Jim Wysocki, a friend of Paul's, will share some of the technical aspects of the music and instruments and bring some items to display.

Carreras is Professor Emeritus, Ramapo College and the Vice President of the Mahwah Museum and chair of their new Les Paul exhibit, which will run through June, 2012.
