Lou Pallo, Tommy Doyle and Sandy Cory to Play

Noted musicians Lou Pallo, Tommy Doyle and Sandy Cory will play live music at the Mahwah Museum’s Les Paul 97th Birthday Gala on June 9, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at the Trustees Pavilion, RamapoCollege. 

The Gala will feature wine, hors d’oeuvres and light fare as well as a birthday cake.  There will be a live and silent auction and a raffle drawing.  

The silent auction will feature many items of signed Les Paul memorabilia, and two new, unplayed  Les Paul model guitars donated by Gibson.  The live auction includes guitars signed by Eric Clapton, George Benson and others, and another new Gibson guitar.

At 9:30 p.m. the Museum will also draw the winning raffle tickets in its raffle of two autographed guitars.  

The Mahwah Museum, at 201 Franklin Turnpike, is open Wednesdays and weekends from 1-5 p.m. until June 30 and on Sundays from 1-5 p.m. through July 29.  In addition to “Les Paul in Mahwah” the Museum features “New Jersey Fights in the Civil War” in remembrance of Civil War veterans buried in the cemeteries of Mahwah.  The Old Station Museum, at 1871 Old Station Lane,  is also open from 2-4 p.m. on Sundays through October.
