Richard Reiter Swing Band

This Sunday afternoon concert will include 5 members of the band on keyboard, sax, drums, bass, and vocals featuring vocalist Tricia Slafta and Richard Reiter on saxophone. The band plays popular standards from the Swing Era such as “As Time Goes By,” “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “You Made Me Love You,” “Jump Jive an’ Wail” and “Zoot Suit Riot.” Saxophonist and band leader Richard Reiter is a nationally acclaimed jazz musician and Emmy Award winning composer who has performed with such artists as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nancy Wilson and Johnny Mathis, and was clarinet soloist for Benny Goodman’s “Sing Sing Sing” in the Broadway show “Dancin.” This program is free.
