Chase away your blues with a toe tapping bluegrass tune. Enjoy blues to country to bluegrass. Turn hardtimes into goodtimes. And goodtimes into a great time with the Triple Play All-Star. It’s their love of the music while dishing out their brand of high energy fun—-from bubbling Old -Time music to steaming Bluegrass, flavored with Gospel, Blues, Originals, and more—-an eclectic menu of tunes and songs, mixed with tasty vocal harmonies and instrumental pizzazz—- sweet melodies seasoned with blues, and hot licks, served up to your taste, with love! Drew Smith has played the autoharp for over thirty years. He’s played on radio and cable TV, and has won the National and International Championships and Blue Ribbons at the Old Fiddler’s Convention in Galax, VA. Folksinger/songwriter Robbie Wedeen’s original songs draw from several musical forms such as blues, English and Irish ballads, blues, gospel, spirituals, old-time, country, children’s songs, women’s song and international songs. She plays guitar, autoharp, dulcimer and banjo. And has performed wildly in the tri-state metropolitan area including radio and cable TV. Rich has been playing the five string banjo and guitar for over thirty years. Spurred on by a great passion for Bluegrass and traditional Country music, he took guitar lessons at adult classes offered at his own Fairlawn, NJ high school when he was 16 years old. This program is free. No tickets are necessary. Seats are on a “first come” basis.
