What a Farce. When Hermansen learned that Mayor Laforet was being honored at Yankee Stadium by the Simon Wiesenthal foundation, he created an "event" of his own on the same day, without any prior authorization or approval, naming a park after one of his long time cohorts. Aside from the unmitigated gall of "proclaiming" that a park created to honor victims of the 9-11 terrorist attacks was now being named after a living person rather than the victims, he uses the solemn occasion to rant about the lawsuits and who is to blame. Shame on you, Rob. As will be made very clear soon, the real fact is that you and every member of the council individually were warned in writing by the attorney general not to enact the ordinances long before the suit was filed. You bullied and coerced this weakling council into moving ahead, in spite of the protests from the mayor and chief-of-police. The lawsuits, and the tens of thousands of dollars they cost the taxpayers, are all your fault, and you know it. Spinning it any other way is pure fiction - fake news. Now you go through the public drama of "running" for mayor, days of articles about getting signatures, meeting all of your many supporters, submitting your petitions, portraying the arrival of Mahwah's messiah - then dropping out to support someone that you know will be nothing more than another of your puppets. The ventriloquist and his dummy. You dropped out because you know you'd have to face the facts in an election against the mayor, and all of your lies would be exposed. COWARD. It should now be clear to everyone why you were booted by the citizens of Bergen County after such a short term as freeholder. You are a trouble maker and are responsible for 95% of the problems that you blame on the mayor. Deny all of this in writing and in public, Rob. You won't because you know all of it is truth and you aren't man enough to own it. Maybe you can hide behind one of the fake personas or alter ego's you use on Facebook or the Patch to respond.
